What's new at GoodBarber? February 2021

This month we introduce 3 new features for your Shopping Apps that will be useful for you regardless of the type of shop you own: 

- A Public API that will allow you to easily connect your app to third-party services. 
- The Developer add-on is now available for your Shopping Apps allowing you to access hidden settings to customize your app even more. 
- Advanced tax management allowing you to manage your taxes according to two new criteria: the type of product sold and not only by countries but also by region

  • Home section

    • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash of the application. iOS

    • In widgets Link, fixed an issue that caused a crash of the application when the user was clicking on a phone link with space characters. iOS

    • In widgets Link with Template Visual, fixed an issue that caused cells being displayed with a wrong background color. iOS

    • In widgets Link, fixed an issue that caused some separators missing. Android

    • In widgets Promo banner, fixed an issue that could cause the image being displayed with an overlay color. Android

    • In widgets HTML, fixed an issue that caused a white background color being displayed even if it's set to transparent. Android

    • Fixed some display issues appearing when using a right to left language. PWA

    • UI Accessibility has been improved following the EU directive regarding the Web Accessibility recommendations. PWA

    • Fixed an issue that could cause the product detail page to take time to be displayed. Android
       

  • Bag section

    • We now display an explicit message in the bag to your clients to explain why they can’t access the checkout (minimum and maximum order amount or weight) iOS Android PWA
       

  • Checkout page

    • Fixed a translation issue. iOS

    • Fixed an issue that could cause an error when an anonymous user was trying to pay with a Credit card. iOS

    • Fixed an issue that could cause the pay button staying disabled. iOS

    • Fixed an issue that caused some text to be in english even if the app is in another language. iOS

    • Fixed an issue that caused a crash of the application when the user was trying to pay with an unavailable time slot. Android

    • Fixed an issue that caused the delivery method placeholder message being wrong.

    • Now cookies are shared between all web parts of the application. iOS
       

  • Blog add-on

    • On the comments page, fixed an issue that could cause WordPress comments not being displayed. iOS

    • In template 5, fixed an issue that could cause a crash of the application. iOS
       

  • Store locator add-on

    • Fixed an issue that could cause KML itinerary not displayed on iOS14 devices. iOS

    • You can now allow horizontal scrolling by adding the following JSON property set to 1 : sections/enableHorizontalScroll. PWA

  • Authentication add-on

    • You can now allow your users to add external links to their profiles. iOS Android PWA

    • You can now allow your users to link their Snapchat and Whatsapp account to their profile. iOS Android PWA

    • In the sign-up view, fixed an issue that could cause the register button not to work when you have some mandatory fields. iOS

    • Authorizing Twitter is now required for the first time only. Android
       

  • Chat add-on

    • Fixed an issue that caused the history of conversation not displayed when sending a new message to a user. iOS
       

  • Couponing add-on

    • Fixed an issue that caused links to coupons not working. Android

    • Fixed an issue that could cause links to coupons not working. PWA
       

  • Internal ad network add-on

    • Fixed an issue that could cause widget ads being displayed on another one. iOS

    • In widgets Ads, fixed an issue that caused a white background color being displayed even if it's set to transparent. Android
       

  • External ad network add-on

    • Fixed an issue that could cause Adsense banner not loading on desktop devices. PWA

    • In Form sections, fixed an issue that caused Adsense banners to hide the end of the form. PWA

    • We now check if Adsense SDK is loaded before trying to send Adsense requests. PWA
       

  • Live+ Radio add-on

    • Fixed an issue that could cause the sleep mode set up view to be displayed with a transparent background color. iOS

    • Fixed an issue that caused the thumb & the artist name not to be displayed when the metadata are in Arabic language. iOS

    • UI Accessibility has been improved following the EU directive regarding the Web Accessibility recommendations. PWA
       

  • Developer add-on

    • In Plugin sections, the zoom can now be enabled by adding a JSON property. Android

    • In Plugin sections, it's now possible to read PDF files in offline mode. Android
       

  • Other fixes and improvements

    • In the Cookie consent dialog, the intern statistics checkbox is now disabled by default to be compliant with the German Federal Court. PWA
