What's new at GoodBarber? June 2022

This month, we released several new extensions that you've been voting for in the GoodBarber Lab. And we thought about everyone, whether you own classic apps or eCommerce apps. 

First of all a very important extension for merchants: Facebook Marketplace. By connecting your GoodBarber app to your Facebook Marketplace with our latest extension, you'll help your business gain visibility as well as increase your sales using the world's largest social network! 

For your content, we have also released several extensions that will allow you to distribute external content in your application. Medium and Wix for your articles, Ausha, Spreaker, Anchor, and Simplecast for your podcasts: connect our extensions and broadcast your content directly into your application. 

Finally, the last extension that will delight your customers: Tawk.to, which allows you to offer direct chat support to your users. It's a free and easy way to communicate with your customers.

GoodBarber eCommerce App

  • General
    • ​With the Facebook Marketplace extension, synchronize your GoodBarber Catalog and use the world's largest social network to sell your products

    • Bring Live support chat to your users with our latest extension, Tawk.to

    • Synchronize and display your Medium publications in your app with our new Medium extension 

    • Add your podcasts to your app from Ausha with our new Ausha extension

    • In Calendar widgets, fixed an issue that could cause events to be displayed with the wrong order. iOS

    • In widgets with Minimal template, fixed an issue that caused the widget to not take the whole screen. iOS

    • Fixed an issue that caused Map widgets with MapView templates to be empty.  PWA

  • Product detail page

    • Fixed an issue that could cause the wrong product being added to the bag. iOS  Android

  • Checkout page

    • Phone number fields now require at least 4 digits to be considered as valid. iOS

  • My Account section

    • Phone number fields now require at least 4 digits to be considered as valid. iOS

    • Customers can now delete their account from the My Account page. iOS  Android  PWA

  • Blog section

    • In the template 7, fixed an issue that caused thumbnails looking blurry on iPad devices.  iOS

    • Fixed an issue that could cause the content to be partially hidden by the header.  Android

  • Calendar section

    • The loading time of events has been reduced. iOS

    • Fixed an issue that caused map icons being different from the list & the detail views. iOS

    • In detail views, fixed an issue that caused YouTube videos to be displayed with a wrong ratio.  Android

    • In detail views, fixed an issue that could cause icons to not be displayed in buttons.  PWA

  • Map section

    • In the detail view, the gradient displayed on the banner image has been removed. iOS

    • Fixed an issue that could cause it impossible to load more places when reaching the end of the list. iOS

    • Fixed an issue that caused places not sorted by distance in the list. iOS

    • In detail view, fixed an issue that could cause some misalignment between images & texts. iOS  Android

    • Fixed an issue that could cause images to be rotated when using the gbGetMedia() method.  Android

    • In the users' list section, fixed an issue that caused some users to not be displayed on the map.  Android

  • External advertising networks extension

  • Google Analytics extension

    • Privacy options are available for Google Analytics. iOS  Android  PWA

    • Fixed an issue that could prevent some stats events from being sent. iOS

  • In-app purchase subscriptions extension

    • On account deletion, subscribed users are now informed that the deletion is not stopping the subscription. iOS

    • In the search section, fixed an issue that caused the background of content detail to be transparent with a user logged in. - iOS

    • Fixed an issue that could cause a crash of the application at launch.  Android

    • It's now possible to update the consent from the Profile section.  PWA

  • Internal ad server extension

    • Fixed an issue that caused banners not displayed on iPad devices.  PWA

  • Live + extension

    • Fixed an issue that caused the share icon to be cut on some devices.  Android

  • Plugin section extension

    • Fixed an issue that caused special characters to not be correctly displayed. iOS
